Firstly, what a fantastic time we had. The complex amenities were terrific and the staff really friendly.
The setting and the way the site is set up is well maintained and very
clean. The children loved the pool beside Tradewinds with the beach
nearby to play in.
As for the apartment , the decor was pleasing
to the eye, spacious and it was pleasing to chill out in after a day at
the theme park.
Will definitely be coming back in 2009!!!
The welcome pack on arrival was a very nice touch so thankyou for that.
All in all a first rate holiday was had by the whole family owing to the accommodation we chose.
Will be recommending you to our friends.
Thankyou

Hi,
we were very pleased with the apratment and resort although there were a couple of things that i feel could be improved,
i have listed them bellow. I would however reccomend your web site to
my friends as you were very efficeint with the booking and a fair price.
. remote in lounge did not work, which is a nightmare when there are so many channels (Gary could have been the
batteries all you had to do is ask reception to sort it out)
.The lounge only offered comfortable saeating for 5 people max, although our booking was for 6
.the resort would have benefitted fom a poole table in the games room and table tennis table. there was not much for the kids.
the pools were great, and the bars and service all excellent. Food also good on resort.
thanks

I am happy to leave feedback for the Bahama Bay. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed everything about our stay.
During our vacation we had moved about a bit and had arranged to spend our final week at the Bahama Bay - chilling!
On the drive from Cocoa Beach we encountered a severe thunderstorm but
still managed to final the resort first time (well, almost). We did
drive pass the left turn but after a quick "U" we were back on course.
Registration was quick and easy and we found our apartment with no
trouble at all. Needless to say after so many hotel rooms, my family
were delighted with the space and comfort of our 3 Bed Gran Bahama.
As others have said, lifting luggage for 5 people to our room (on 3rd
floor, with no lift) was a bit hard going but after all the excesses in
the various eateries - we needed a little exercise!
(Gary you can ask for help from the frontdesk)
We spent most of our time out and about - finding our way very easily.
We used the restaurant only once and had a lovely meal.
We used the pool area at Tradewinds which we thought was lovely - lots
of loungers and plenty of space. We had lunch at the poolside bar
which, again, was lovely.
We didn't see the alligators but we did see raccoons and lots of
lizards and my son saved a turtle (which was in the middle of the road
during a thunderstorm).
We didn't find time to visit the pool or clubhouse until our last evening. Once again, it was lovely.
On our final morning when we went to check out we realised all the
other things we had been missing by not visiting the clubhouse!
All in all, we had a fantastic time at the Bahama Bay and I cannot find
anything to fault. I would recommend your resort to anyone and hope to
revisit sometime in the near future.
Also, my contact details : Lynne Meikle ##############
would be interested in hearing about future phases at the Bahama Bay.
Kind regards

Hi Kendall
We came home yesterday, following a fantastic holiday. Bahama Bay was just fabulous.
We drove down the East Coast, from Virginia and Washington DC through
North and South Carolina and onto Georgia and Florida. By the time we
arrived at Bahama Bay we were ready for a break and a bit of luxury.
The resort certainly delivered. The apartment itself was large and
clean, which meant that we were able to really sit back and relax.
Great views too.
The staff at the Club house were helpful and
arranged our Park tickets and even the photo shop chap (an ex-pat) was
really welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate in recomending Bahama Bay.
Its an oasis away from the bustle of the Parks and highways and a real find!
Kind regards

Hi Kendall
Just to let you know, we had a great time at the Bahama Bay resort. The
facilities were fantastic and the apartment was enormous, which was
great when you've got two families sharing.
It was good to have washing facilities, meaning that we came back with clean clothes rather than a suitcase full of washing.
There was everthing we could have needed in the apartment, making our
stay an enjoyable one and being close to all the theme parks was a
bonus.
If we ever go back to Florida, we would certainly stay at the Bahama
Bay resort and will be recommending it to all our family and friends in
the future.
Kind regards

Hi Kendall
- we did indeed enjoy our vacation at Bahama Bay - who wouldn't when
you get 6 weeks of beautiful warm weather when our own winter stays
below freezing with tons of snow, sleet and icy conditions. We had a
wonderful time and to top it off we celebrated our 50th wedding
anniversary while we were in Florida.
We can't say enough kudos
about your concierge, Esther Miller. She was instrumental in providing
us with just the perfect restaurant (Narcoossees at the Hotel
Floridian) looking out over the water with Disney's Magic Castle in the
background and topped off with a spectacular fireworks display.
She not only made the arrangements and reservation she also picked up a
corsage and suggested another of your employees (Nixon, of Nixon's
Transport) as our driver for the evening. We had flown in our kids from
Canada for a surprise visit for my wife and the entire evening was a
huge success.
Esther also guided us through other fine dining and
shopping experiences throughout our stay. We would be remiss if we
didn't mention the rest of the staff at Bahama Bay who were always
cheerful and most helpful - from the gatekeepers to the clubhouse staff
(particularly Gloria and Zack),
Helen in the front office and Dave
and his staff at the Tradewinds Restaurant, bartender Marty at Mambo's
and the maintenance guys scooting around in their golf carts, smiling
and waving as they pass by.
Numerous other staff members provided
helpful assistance as well - the friendly staff in the variety store,
Alison from the Spa, and Rupert, the friendliest greeter we've met.
Our apartment unit (23-101) was exceptionally clean and well stocked
with everything we needed, and the grounds and pools throughout the
resort were well maintained. A camaraderie of sorts developed amongst
some of the longer term residents and we spent many hours discussing
and resolving world affairs as we enjoyed Happy Hour at pool-side
An on-site video rental store (with current movies) would be a welcome
addition - at least for the longer term residents. Perhaps periodic
Bingo games and/or Movie Nights for Adults might also be useful.(Gary i will look into that)
All in all, we personally had a great time during our 6 week stay and
have already received favourable pricing from you for a longer stay
next year which we are about to confirm.
Keep up the good work.
Sincerely, Floyd and Golda Lucas,

Hi Kendall,
I would be happy to give you feedback on our recent stay (Feb. 18, - Mar. 10, 2007) at Bahama Bay.
We stayed in Abacos unit B02615 which I am told is in one of the first
buildings built about 4 or 5 years ago. Even so, the unit was in
excellent condition and everyone loved the place.
As you know, my wife and I stayed at the resort last year but this year
our daughter, her husband and 2 young children stayed with us for 1
week. We had shown everyone pictures from last year's stay but they
were still surprised by the beauty of the buildings and grounds.
The kids were thrilled with the pool right behind the unit and after a
long day of sightseeing that's the first place they headed and stayed
until dusk. We also enjoyed the clubhouse's pool and the convenience of
Mambo's bar right there.
Joyce and I wanted to try lunch inside the Tradewinds but unfortunately
we could only get service at the bar outside at the time.
This year I brought my notebook computer and had no trouble connecting
to the internet from inside the clubhouse.
When we first arrived there was a problem with one of the TVs. After
reporting it someone arrived within the hour and had the problem fixed.
Great service!
Also liked the idea of the large trash containers outside instead of setting the trash on the curb.( Gary yes they have
been an improvement) The
only downside to the unit was that Joyce thought the washer/dryer combo
was too small for six people. The dryer took a long time to dry out the
pool towels and other items.
Also, there was some confusion about our reservation. Even though our
room keys and car pass were set for 3 weeks, after 2 weeks the cleaning
crew and front desk thought we were supposed to leave. Good thing I had
a written copy of the reservation to clear things up.
(Gary yes we do ask our guests to take the paper work we supply just for these
occasions)
All in all, just as last year we had a great vacation and will be contacting you soon about reservations for next year.
Best Regards,
Chuck

Hi Kendall,
My family and I had a fantastic time during out stay at the Bahama Bay
Resort. The apartment was fantastic with a great view over the lake
and Beach.
The apartment was ideal and was much larger than it looked
in the photo's. The staff at the resort were extremely friendly and
helpful, even sending out an engineer at 11pm when we had a slight problem with hot water.
I would also like to thank you all at Bahama-Bay .co.uk for the
efficient and friendly way you dealt with our booking and queries both
by email and over the phone.
The welcome pack was invaluable, especially the maps, means I didn't have to rely on the tiny hard to
read maps the rental firms give you. My family and I were impressed
with the resort and high standard of the apartments and enjoyed our
stay there immensely.
We
have already recommended you to friends who are planning trips to
Orlando and will definitely be back for our next trip to Orlando.
Thanks again and pass on our thanks to all the staff at the resort.

Kendall and Gary,
This recent visit to Bahama Bay was a business trip in which I had two other employees with me. The
condo we had this year was exactly the same as last year and was very nice. Like last year after walking
the Orlando convention center all day everyday it was very nice to come back to a quiet location with
access to the pool/hot tub.
I will say you have changed the hours on the pool area back by the lake
and would like to see it open later as we have been closer to the back pool than the front on other
trips. Gary the local county has told us that as the pool
hasn't got lights we must close at dusk, the clubhouse pool has got lights
and we are trying to increase the times)
Overall I was very pleased with condo as usual and thank you.
We will continue to come back to
Bahama Bay.

Kendall,
First of all, Thank you so much for the tips on which apartment to book (B16113), it suited us perfectly.
We
were a minutes walk from the pool and clubhouse, a five minutes walk
from the restaurant, which was perfect after a good meal and we could
even see the Disney fireworks going off in the distance, we all loved
it.
Our journey from the airport was a bit of a nightmare, make sure that
you listen to the car rental assistants when they provide you with
directions, don't think that you know better and head towards
Kissimmee, as you'll do what I done and get lost. The resort was,
however well signed from the end of the 192 and the perfect driving
distance from both International Drive/ the Universal Parks and the
Disney parks, my wife was also pleased that the Orlando Premium Outlets
were only a 10 minute drive away up the I4, however my bank manager
wasn't so pleased, nor was the taxi driver that had to take our extra
cases to the airport for us, as they wouldn't fit in the SUV.
When we first arrived, the kitchen was stocked with breakfast cereals,
bacon and eggs, which is already a step further than any of the other
Kissimmee apartments we've stayed in, in the past. We were pleasantly
surprised by the size of the apartment, it was perfect for us, 3 adults
and 3 young children (2/4/8).
The kids couldn't believe "our new holiday home" and loved the heated
pools, especially when we got back from the long walks around the theme
parks, they were in their element.
All in all, the apartment was perfect and well sized, the grounds were
immaculate and maintained throughout our stay, the staff were friendly
and outgoing, the pools were clean and warm, which was great, as the
soft December winds were getting chilly in the afternoon and Bob and
the other 'gate keepers' were super courteous, with a salute or wave,
each and every time you passed by, the kids loved them.
We haven't yet touched upon the downsides of our stay, but that's
because there were none. This place is ideal for almost anyone, I've
already recommended it a number of times to friends and colleagues and
can't wait to go back late next year.
Happy Holidays...!

Carl James

Hi Kendall, Hi Gary,
We had a great holiday - the apartment and the resort were perfect. We
had no problems whatsoever and we will definitely recommend it on to
friends and family should they holiday in Orlando.
The apartment had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. The
following comment is a purely personal one, so please do not think it
had a negative effect on our opinion of Bahama Bay. We have rented
various properties (villas and apartments) throughout Florida and can
never understand why the Owners choose to put down white/champagne
coloured carpets - they are the first thing that tend to look tired and
grubby - and can only be a headache to keep clean !!!(
Gary yes i agree, as I run a family flooring company, this is a subject that I
know a lot about, the reason that we have a beige carpet is because most are
chosen for us via the developer, it also makes the place feel bigger, we will be
changing the carpets to a hardwood flooring in the lounge areas very soon )
Apart from that - wonderful.
Thanks for your help and the problem-free reservation.

Louise

Dear Gary and Kendall,
Just a short note to say what a fantastic holiday we had at the Bahama Bay Resort
We€™ve stayed in the Orlando area on a number of occasions now and have to say that the resort stands out as the place to stay.
The accommodation was great (spacious, clean, high grade furnishings)
with excellent outlooks over the central pond and clubhouse.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we made full use of
the bars and restaurants. I particularly liked the happy hour at the
Tradewinds, when it lasted between 3 and 5 at the outside bar to be
continued between 5 and 7 at the inside bar €“ most obliging.
The location of the resort was excellent being that far away from the
main built up areas to make it peaceful, yet within easy reach of many
bars and restaurants.
The drive to the theme parks and retail outlets is straight forward without any need to worry about the need for maps.
It was my granddaughter€™s first visit to Florida and I think staying at the Bahama Bay improved her experience no end.
Many times we had to coax her out of the pool to go for something to eat or even to visit the parks.
We had a real family holiday and will definitely be back to stay again.
Once again many thanks for making my families holiday something special.

Hi Kendall
We had a fantastic time at Bahama Bay and the apartment exceeded our expectations completely.
We have previously stayed in private villas and the apartment was
definitely in the same luxury league. Everything was spotless and
immaculate, it almost felt like we were the first people to have stayed
there!
The welcome pack was much appreciated and it saved a lot of hastle by
not having to go straight out again to get some basics. On arrival we
were given a pack of leaflets by the guy on the gatehouse, one of which
was a tourist map that showed Bahama Bay. This was really helpful and
would definately have been something we would have appreciated in
advance.
When we got there II realised I had forgotten the battery charger for
my digital camera. I went and saw Glenn in the on-site photo shop and
he helped me order one on-line and arranged for it to be delivered to
his shop - all for no charge! - This was great service.
We also purchased our Disney tickets at Bahama Bay and found this to be
a good service.
We tried out all three pools, plus the children's pool and they were
all great - my 3 yr old daughter especially liked the beach area where
she could get covered in sand, then shower off and jump in the big pool.
The only down side was the fire alarm going off for about 5 seconds at
4am one morning - however mentioning it at reception the next day it
had happened right across the complex so we didn't feel too picked on!!
When we left Bahama Bay to go to our next apartment in St Pete's Beach
we wished we'd just booked the whole two weeks in Orlando - never mind
there's always next time!!!

Hi Kendall
Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Once again we had a wonderful
time staying at Bahama Bay this summer. This is the second year in a
row and it was just as every bit as good as the first year.
The resort is only a short drive from Disney which is great when coming
home after 10 hours of walking round theme parks with two young very
tired children.
To be honest, I really can't think of any way to improve your resort. You seem to have thought of everything.
Well guess what, we are thinking about coming back again next year.
Perhaps you can let me know about any possible discounts for returning
guests. (Gary 10% for Retuning Guests she has booked

Dear Kendal & Gary,
Just thought we would drop you a note to say how much we enjoyed
staying at your apartment at the Bahama Bay Resort. It was our first
trip to Florida and we were a little unsure of how things would be. You
dealt with our booking very professionally and provided all the
necessary information to us.
We were all delighted to have a spacious and comfortable apartment
which made us feel at home right away. After a day out at the theme
parks we were glad to be able to relax both in the apartment and also
using the excellent facilities at the resort. The staff there were
discrete but helpful when needed. The only negative thing I can think
of to mention is the arrangement for disposal of rubbish.
Unfortunately, there were not any bins under the staircases and we,
like others, had to leave it on the lawn areas.
(Gary all units now have bins under the staircases)
The kids said €˜It was the best holiday we have ever had€™ and are keen to go back in the future.
I would be very happy to recommend you and the resort to friends and family.
Thank you once again and best wishes.

Dear Kendall & Gary,
Sorry for the delay in receiving our feedback on our stay.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay. It was
beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The
grounds and common areas are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The
pools and spas were very nice.
The condo was very nicely apportioned, very well maintained and very
comfortable. We were so grateful to have some ROOM and not be cramped
into a small hotel room with our three children (and I'm sure they were
grateful as well).
Actually, the resort is so nice that we regretted that we didn't really
have a day planned to just "chill out" at the condo. It really could be
a destination in and of itself.
Another "plus" that we discovered was that staying at Bahama Bay gave
me and my family a great opportunity to meet and visit with many
interesting and wonderful citizens of the UK. At the time we were
there, it seemed as though there were more people staying there from
the UK than from the US.
We enjoyed the chance to meet and to talk to some folks from "across
the pond!" Our kids found it facinating as well.
The location of Bahama Bay is not bad, as it only took us about 15
minutes to reach the main Disney World drive, and that includes driving
during some high density traffic times.
Access to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and other shopping was quick and easy.
To sum up our opinion, Bahama Bay was a great find and a remarkable value for us.
We will (and have) recommended it to several friends that asked about
our trip. And we will definitely stay again when back in the Orlando
area.
I'm really glad that we "discovered" Bahama Bay, and thanks for running such a great resort!

Hello Kendall & Gary
Let me thank you for a wonderful and enlighten experience at Bahama Bay Resort.
Every member of our party was absolutely amazed and thrilled with the
accommodations. The apartment excessed all of our expectations with
it€™s beauty and cleanliness. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
We enjoyed a late night dinner at the TRADEWINDS restaurant upon our
arrival. The food was outstanding and the staff catered to us after
their normal closing hours.
Though we didn€™t spent much time using the amenities because of our family reunion schedule,
I
myself enjoyed a walking tour of the resort. The beauty of the lake,
the pools and landscaping are breathtaking. I had to take pictures to
share with my family, friends and co-workers.
We experienced a small problem with our access keys and sugar ants in the kitchen area.
However the maintenance staff was prompt and professional in resolving these issues.
I would not hesitate to recommend BAHAMA BAY RESORT to anyone seeking a new Florida vacation experience.
Also, I can honestly say and others will testify too, that BAHAMA BAY
RESORT sets a new benchmark for any future vacation accommodations.

We last made a trip to the Orlando area during the Summer of 1992. What
a change to the area. Anyway, our stay at the Bahama Bay Resort was
fantastic & surpassed all our expectations.
There were 4 of us in our party including me & my wife & our 3
year old. We stayed in block 22 Condo 102. The condo was like being at
home with all that you could ask for including a dishwasher; washing
machine; tumble dryer & a huge fridge. I could go on for ages.
Very clean; spacious etc. Even the carpets were spotless very unusual
in a lot of the accommodation we have stayed in whilst travelling
throughout the States.
The resort itself definitely 5* +. You never get the feeling that it's
overcrowded as there is just acres of space. Pool area for adults &
kids is great. The drive to all the major attractions is under 30 mins
& it's nice to come back to a quiet setting to get away from the
crowds at the parks etc.
Negatives - only a few: A. As we were on the ground floor we could hear
the guests upstairs making noise. We did knock their door & the
noise stopped. (Gary sometimes young children jump around
getting excited going to the parks in the morning, as Brian said a
little knock on the door did the trick or a call to the reception would
resolve the problem )B. The boiler in the hall
way was very loud when it came on during the night. C. Fridge was very
loud. D. Dishwasher leaked slightly - called maintenance . Came over
but still leaked slightly. E. Sprinkler system. I'm a light sleeper so
when it came on at about 04:30 I heard it.(Gary
sometimes when you stay in a new place it takes awhile to get used to the
noises, as you have pointed out you are a very light sleeper)
Would we come back. YES, YES, YES. My wife is keen to come back for
Xmas but being realistic we may come back next year Summer or Summer
2008.
Would love to buy one of these condo for rental purposes. Can you send me some details.
Feel free to put this on your site.
Best wishes

Bahama Bay was recommended by the travel agent. I am so pleased he
recommended it. It was absolutely perfect. The apartment was clean,
well furnished, everything we could have wished for. We loved the pools
and spent many an evening playing volleyball in the pool until midnight.
The poolside snackbar was excellent, the chicken wings....delicious, and delivered to your room if required.
All of the pools were clean and the whole resort was beautifully kept.
Our hot water stopped working one day, I called reception and the
repairman came within an hour and fixed it.
It was a 20 minute drive to Disney parks, new road not yet open,
so
glad we didn't stay on I drive as it reminded me of an english seaside
resort. The drive in was nice, picked up breakfast on the way..
Cannot find one single fault, I am sure we will be back again.
Thank you very much.

Gary,
Just a word about our recent stay at Bahama Bay (BB). We (family of 5)
have taken holidays in Florida on 5 occasions and first stayed at BB in
July 2005 and were very impressed with the complex overall, so much so
that we had discussed purchase of a property and a definite repeat
visit in July 06, indeed a few of our friends have also stayed at BB on
our recommendation..
Our accommodation was again first class and located where we required.
My comments really are concerned with the Trade winds Pool, restaurant.(Gary, Robert
complained about the restaurant and I have passed his comments to the manager and the management
company to address
)
We were well impressed by the drive and enthusiasm of Marty the barman,
who got to know his customers and nothing was too much trouble. He is an asset
to the complex and we missed him at the weekends.
Whist our comments appear on
the negative side, BB is still a wonderful place to holiday, all I would say is
to keep an eye on the standards to keep the 4/5 star rating,
if small aspects
start to slip then people will not return.
I hope you appreciate our comments and would gladly discuss any other aspects on
0********

We have just returned from our second family holiday at Bahama Bay. The
first time (Easter 2005), was such a great holiday we just had to go
back for the second time to see if it would be as good, (Easter 2006).
It was as good and we are already planning our 2007 holiday at Bahama
Bay.
The resort is of a 5 star standard with a friendly atmosphere with people at hand who only want to help you.
Disney is a 15 minute drive away and with 2 new roads going in, it will
half the time to get to the Disney roads. Once on the Disney roads it
is very easy to reach all the local attractions. We found it very easy
to get around.
I am quite a fussy person but I find it very difficult to fault Bahama
Bay. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to do the Florida thing.
Lots of our friends have been and have been equally impressed.
Read Gary€™s notes in the welcome pack, as things like good restaurants and short cuts are well worth knowing.
We will be back again in 2007.

Hi Kendall and Gary.
What can I say€¦
This was the first time south for my wife and I in 13yrs. So we were like kids anticipating this trip.
I am having difficulty finding anything wrong with the resort, and just loved it!!!!
When first introduced to the apt. I was amazed with the space and room,
layout, etc. It was so very comfortable and I really tried to treat the
room like it was my own.
Every little nuance of the facility was perfect including the 75 acres
to move around, the pool, the beach, the grounds, the step in shower,
the sitting area in and out. I could go on and on.
It was very important to my wife and I that we had a comfortable place
and I researched it very well. In fact, the lady at our local travel
agency who first mentioned this place to me, will probably get a gift.
What would I improve on? I would look at the carpet and replace it with
either the new berber material that is available or laminate. Berber
would be perfect because it is nice to have something warm under the
feet.(Gary i am looking into laying Laminate in the lounge area)
Sorry I don€™t have more to say on improvements, but we were very happy.
We were there a day, when we decided we would return to Florida next
year. I have sentiment towards returning to the Bahama Bay Resort, but
my wife would like to land on a beach next year and we are looking at
the gulf coast, just for a change.( Gary i am thinking of buying on the gulf coast and maybe could offer you a dual place to stay,
and my place in Antigua will be finished after April 07)
Having said that, our thoughts may evolve throughout the next few
months, and I was wondering if I could get a quote on something for
next year.

Gary and Dawn,
We just wanted to say that we had a lovely time at Bahama Bay. The
apartment was fantastic and the whole resort was a lovely peaceful
haven away from the theme parks, etc.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks.
We didn't bump in to you or Jane and Steve anymore, but hope you had a good time too.
We finished our holiday in New York which was brilliant - now I've been to Tescos it doesn't feel like I've been away!!
Once again, thanks for renting us the apartment for our break and we'll definitely be going back!!

Dear Kendall and Gary
Thank you for your email.
We had a fabulous time at the Bahama Bay Resort. It was a lovely, clean resort
and was so safe for our children.
We particularly liked the beach area and we made plenty of use of the pools and hot tubs.
My younger daughter had a great time at the kids club and Dawn was so kind to her, and did an excellent job with the children.
It was unfortunate that roadwork's on the I4 caused a lot of traffic on
the 192 and made our trips to Universal and Seaworld a long one.(Gary the new toll road has just opened and cuts out the traffic and enters Disney via the new
Westgate entrance, this cuts out all the traffic and is great for a $)
My only comment on the actual resort is that it was a shame that
rubbish had to be left out on the grass as it looked awful, and seemed
to be there most of the day. (Gary,This Easter was the first time the resort was at full
occupancy, normally we have been able to remove the bags instantly, so the
rubbish had never been a problem before, I was visiting myself this Easter & I had the same feelings
so this is being rectified with the purchase of large bins being eminent )
I would also suggest that there are some simple instructions for using
the appliances in the apartment, as they are all different to the UK
especially the stove and dishwasher.(Gary,
Apartment directories with information are in print as we speak)
We would love to own one of your apartments but we spend a lot of our time sailing, and we wouldn't make enough use of it.
Thank you for all your help.
Kind Regards

The apartment was better than it appeared on the web site - in
particular we found the high ceilings and clean decor very refreshing
and airy. The quality of the furnishings and plants added to the
general homely feel. The laundry room with dryer was well used.
The kitchen was easy
to use with everything to make a real meal. We had a meal at the local
restaurant tradewinds, the service was very friendly and relaxed.
All in all it felt like a real home with more space than our own home.
Thank you for such helpful service, I would not hesitate to recommend anyone booking through you in the future.

We had a great holiday in Florida and thought the apartment at Bahama Bay to be very high spec and excellent quality and value.
For a family including our two young grandchildren this was the best
sort of accommodation, spacious, relaxed etc. Already I am recommending
it to people at work with young families and see it as far better than
hotels for convenience and value.
(This is our 7th visit to Florida
for me and my wife, so we have experience of the alternatives.) All of
Disney is near, although the traffic was heavy since it seemed to be
school holidays locally.
The swimming pool is fine and, as a bit of a €˜twitcher€™, I enjoyed
the bird life on the two small lakes. They are lacking rain at the
moment and drying out which brings in the wading birds €“ a minority
interest, I accept, but anyone would enjoy the surroundings.
Your instructions for getting there were very good by the way.
As a suggestion for improvement, rather than a complaint, I wonder why
the rubbish is to be left by the side of the road in bags, although it
is removed quickly. It looks unsightly.
(Gary see above) Also, whilst the welcome
food pack was a very pleasant surprise, it is a shame that the little
shop does not offer a few more basic for a quick breakfast etc, rather
than have to go to Publix nearby.
Finally, I paid $40 to get into the place early since it was ready by
mid-day and I did not have to wait with tired children until 4 p.m.
This was good value if available.

Hi Kendall,
We had a fantastic time at Bahama Bay. The resort was relaxing,
attractive and friendly, and (like our apartment) immaculately
maintained. The children loved visiting the theme parks, but were at
least as happy spending the day splashing about in the various pools,
meeting other families in the resort and just enjoying the feeling of
being in such a nice place. There's far too much to do to fit in one
visit, so we might well come back again one day (the kids are asking
already).
Our only minor suggestion would be to review the IT facilities in the
clubhouse: some of the games consoles and internet terminals weren't
working properly when we visited.
Overall it was great fun, and you and the staff at Bahama Bay handled
all the arrangements impeccably.
Best wishes,

Hi Kendall,
My wife and I had a GREAT time at Bahama Bay, and highly recommend it.
We had an Andros from Feb 18 - 25. The heart-shaped deep-soaking tub
was a real luxury, as was the large shower stall with a generous spray
of hot water.
Bath towels were also in generous supply. We enjoyed
breakfasts on the lanai, and found the kitchen and dining room well
equipped.
We took several meals at the Trade Winds restaurant and found them
delicious and reasonably priced. (There could be a little more variety
in the luncheon menu.)(Gary , We have new managers at the
resort who will be adding a new menu very soon)
Assistance with finding good off-site
restaurants, shopping, and Orlando attractions was a plus.
We found the pool behind the main building to be a bit cool and noisy
(kids will be kids.) ( as I have said before we had a
problem with this pool and our pool company, this has been resolved, and as from
the 8th March three new pool heaters have been fitted) But once we discovered the pool nestled behind
building 8, we enjoyed several afternoons of warm water and quiet
sunning.
We thought that the practice of leaving trash in plastic bags at the
curb was rather inelegant, not in keeping with the "class act" image of
everything else at the resort. ( Yes I agree but it is
removed three or four times a day, so most people do not notice ,We have bins in
phase one and we are looking into a more elegant way of removal.
On checking out we were surprised with a $37 bill for phone usage. We
had assumed that there would be no charge for non-toll calls from our
room, as this is getting to be the standard at better hotels in the US.
The desk clerk kept repeating that there was a notice of the charge on
a card by the phone, but there was no such card by the phone in our
room. We thought some compromise could have been worked out, and that
the clerk was unnecessarily inflexible. I am sorry about
that, We are having a guest directory put into all rooms very shortly, this will
explain all costs , and it is something I will include in all our welcome packs
in the future )
On balance we thought that Bahama Bay was an excellent vacation resort,
and we surely expect to be coming back.

temperature of the pool by the restaurant as we were not able to swim in the

Hi Kendall
Just to let you know we had a great stay a Bahama Bay.
We are considering returning next year and to be honest we wouldn`t even
bother looking at other accommodation!
Our apartment,a Grand Bahama was very spacious and well equipped with a
lovely view over an orange grove.(It would be a shame if the orange grove
was lost to a "development")
All the staff at Bahama Bay were very friendly and helpful. My only criticism
is the resort is not well signed and would have been very difficult to find
without the info pack.
I have to admit I was nervous about booking direct, having always used
Travel agents in the past but I needn't have worried. The booking procedure
was very simple and efficient, deposits etc acknowledged quickly, emails were
also answered quickly .It was also reassuring to check on the web site that
our particular apartment had been booked.
We all felt Bahama Bay is a lovely place to stay and wouldn`t hesitate
recommending it to family and friends and will definitely be staying there
again one day.

Rooms were also very clean and comfortable. Staffs were very kind as well.

We had a great time. We really enjoyed staying at Bahama Bay. We will be back in the future.
2 things you might want to look at.
1. there is a gap under the front door and we had a friend one morning (a small
bug) in the
foyer. ( Gary, thank you for pointing this out I will get it
rectified) 2. The carpet seemed to be a bit abused. stains)
(Gary again i will get it deep cleaned, we do have a major
spring clean programmed very soon)
I am sure that you have
a lot of guests throughout the year and they don't take care of it like they would their own house.
Both are minor concern. We arrived at night and were surprised to wake up to an orange grove in back yard.
It was quiet at night unlike most hotels so getting a good nights sleep was not a problem.
Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your condo. We have and will continue to tell our friends about Bahama Bay.

One small feedback is that the staff at the reception (excluding Matt),

( Gary,Sorry about this, I will forward this to my management company and try to

Kendal,
What can I say. We had a fantastic time and our 2005 holiday at
Bahama Bay was very memorable.
As you know, we booked 4 separate apartments and were all delighted
with them. It was like being home from home. They were well
equipped, spotlessly clean and the location was excellent, close to
the parks but just far enough away.
The site itself was lovely from
the swimming pool and beach area to the club house and my only
suggestion would be to add a pool table.( Gary I will look into that)
Although we did not use the Trade Winds Restaurant for dinner, we ate
there a few times for lunch and the food was good if a little expensive.
Service was a little slow as there was only one person covering drinks
and food. Not a problem on cooler days but on the hot days another
pair of hands would have been good. (Gary more staff are
available when we are busy )
All the staff we dealt with were very efficient and pleasant, from the
Reception area to the cleaners. and I would have no hesitation in
recommending Bahama Bay.

Small,
dull, overlooked and very overcrowded, thats the worst thing about
coming home, after staying in such a fantastic apartment. Before
booking Bahama Bay, we looked through piles of holiday brochures, and
looked at hundreds of hotels, villas and resorts on the internet,
nothing came close to the style, quality and space of Bahama Bay.
There was eight in our party, my husband and I, our four youngest aged
14/16/17/19, our 25 year old daughter and her husband.
It is very important to me that we have a family holiday every year,
and as many of our children as possible come with us (we only left
three at home). Even though we go together, usually we are split into
several small hotel rooms. We didn't have that problem at Bahama Bay
with our very, very large apartment.
We had more than enough space for everyone. The master bedroom with
ensuite was ideal for my daughter and son-in-law, it gave them total
privacy.
The staff at the resort were all very friendly, three of which stick in
my mind. Pat, security on the gate, always made us feel special with
his salute and thumbs up. Joe, waiter at the Tradewinds on our first
night, was
so friendly, always had a smile. Lastly we went to the shop on our
first afternoon to get essential supplies (teabags & milk). My
husband asked if we would like to go to the bar for a drink while we
were there, which we did, as soon as we sat down the barman brought an
ashtray to our table, my husband remarked about how quick we were given
an ashtray, as though I looked desperate to have a cigarette. I told my
husband that I hadn't brought my cigarettes with me as I thought we
were only going to the shop. The barman came back to our table with his
cigarettes and lighter and gave me one of his. I thought this was a
very kind gesture (Sorry to the non-smokers I know its a disgusting
habit).
I can't praise Bahama Bay enough, but there is nothing I can say or no
matter how many photos I have taken, will ever do the resort justice.
We don't usually holiday in the same place, but we are so impressed
with Bahama Bay that we have decided that we are definately going back.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
Thanks Gary and Kendall.

Just returned after 3 fantastic weeks at the Bahama Bay. We returned
again this year to this resort as quite simply it's the best.
Stayed in the
Andros two bed apartment and it was stunning and is probably bigger than my three

The resort itself is exceptionally well maintained
and the view early morning over Lake Davenport just has to be seen.
The last of the building work is almost complete but it is well away from where

Kendall,
We had a great time staying at Bahama Bay.
The booking couldn't have been easier. Everything you said about this
complex was true. It was excellent, really well maintained and the staff were very helpful.
Four of us stayed in a two bedroom Andros apartment, which was really
clean and had everything you could want in a holiday home. If I
was to be really critical, the only negative points I could make are:
1. Its location... A car is a must. While it is close to Disney, it is
quite a drive to most other entertainment centres, i.e. Universal Studios,
International Drive, Kissimmee etc. ( Universal is 30
min away and we always suggest that a car is a must Gary )
2. There is still some building going on although it didn't seem to have
any negative impact on guests.( Gary, the building
work is in the last phase and is all finished apart from internals, this
will be all completed by Christmas and is very far away from the clubhouse
and beach)
Overall, the Bahama Bay is a great place stay and I would strongly recommend
it.

I stayed at the bahama Bay resort in August this year. One word......PERFECTION.
Myself, partner, mother in law and 2 kids sayed in the 3 bed Grand Bahama
(penthouse!!!). The accomodation was superb. A huge double room with
walk in wardrobe,en suite and jacuzzi bath. Another double room with
another massive wardrobe and shared ensuite with the twin bedroom with
another huge wardrobe!!. How much wardrobe space do you need!!!
The living room was so spacious, dining area and furniture was
fantastic, huge kitchen and even bigger fridge, laundry room with washer
and dryer. This was heaven. The carpet was even perfect, After a day
walking around the parks,it was bliss to take off your shoes and walk
on the very soft fluffy carpet. (sad i know!!)
The whole complex was so beautiful,we were in block 18 room and this
over looked the huge lake. It was so beautiful to wake up in the
morning and see that every day. Hot air balloons often floating along
the lake, the early morning haze and the beautiful sunset. ( be
warned...there are alligators in there but no signs to say so!!!)
Pool area was always cleaned every morning, beach are was
lovely, jacuzzi's were quite hot but lovely once you get in. The staff
were very friendly and helpfull. The barman even went out his way to
make me a cocktail he hadnt heard of. The restaurant satff are
brilliant, they cant do enough for you. Even though the tips are
included in the bill we always gave extra.
The bar at the club house isnt as nice as the bar at the tradewinds restaurant but is ok.
The secrity guard at the entrance is always smiling and you get a salute or thumbs up every time you go past.
The Bahama Bay is a little out of the way but worth the drive.
As a travel agent i will sell this as much as i can....this is such a great place to stay and we will be going back in 2009.
i would rate this as a 5* plus. Its perfect.

We truly loved the resort and it could not have been more comfortable.
The condition of the house was marvelous. There was nothing we needed
that you didn't have. Before we left for the airport, I tried to wash
all the sheets and towels but ran out of time. I think I needed to do
one more batch.
The only think that I would suggest could help other tourists is the
fact that the directions we were given were very confusing. I think
there is a more simple way of getting to the resort from the airport.
(Gary we are looking into a more direct route on our instructions)
My husband was the driver and quickly figured out a much easier way on
getting to all the attractions. I think the first night, we arrived so
late and then arriving during the night was difficult considering we
were unfamiliar with the area. I will ask my husband to write a set of
directions we think would work better to get to your place and I will
email them to you.
Thank you so much for everything. If we get back to that area again we will definitely we would book with you again.
Sincerely.............Patti and Jim

Hi Kendall
We had a fantastic time at Bahama Bay and the apartment exceeded our
expectations completely. We have previously stayed in private villas
and the apartment was definitely in the same luxury league. Everything
was spotless and immaculate, it almost felt like we were the first
people to have stayed there! The welcome pack was much appreciated and
it saved a lot of hastle by not having to go straight out again to get
some basics.
On arrival we were given a pack of leaflets by the guy on the
gatehouse, one of which was a tourist map that showed Bahama Bay. This
was really helpful and would definately have been something we would
have appreciated in advance.(
Gary I will get a copy on my next visit and will send out with all future
reservation details)
When we got there II realised I had forgotten the battery charger for
my digital camera. I went and saw Glenn in the on-site photo shop and
he helped me order one on-line and arranged for it to be delivered to
his shop - all for no charge! - This was great service. We also
purchased our Disney tickets at Bahama Bay and found this to be a good
service.

Hi,
We stayed in apartment 8801 during the above dates and just wanted to say we had a great time.
Bahama Bay is a beautiful place to relax and it wal also so easy to get to all the hustle bustle around the area.
Our apartment was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack which was
delivered to us within an hour of arriving was very much appreciated
and I thought it was a great way of making us feel very welcome.
This
was our 10th visit to Florida but the first without any of the family
and we wondered if we would enjoy it as much, well, we did, so much so
that we are already talking about returning next year and we will
definitely stay at Bahama Bay.

Dear Gary and Kendall
We had a lovely holiday at Bahama Bay. Thank you for dealing so
efficently with our booking. Everything went off without a hitch. The
directions you gave were fine but maybe best to say that you stay on
the 192 for a few miles before seeing the sign for Haines City as the
current wording hints that you come across this sign quite soon.
We were absolutely delighted with our accommodation and found it very
spacious, well-furnished and exceptionally clean. It had every facility
we could wish for (the only suggestion I would make is that a plug-in
kettle would be better than the heat-on-the hob version but this is
really a very minor point!) The resort itself was a really peaceful
haven away from the busy parks and shopping malls. We particularly
liked the little beach by the pool and lake and felt that it was great
to chill out there.
We would love to go back some day and have no hesitation in
recommending Bahama Bay to everyone. All age groups seemed to be having
fun there and enjoying the Florida sunshine!

Dear Kendall and Gary,
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your Andros
condo. The resort is so well landscaped with all the amenities you
could ask for.
The decor in the apartment was superb with all the comforts of home.
The whole booking process was so easy on the web and the staff in the
clubhouse were very helpful.
We took the Toll 417 to I4 to I27 route from Sanford (approx. 1.5
hours) and found the resort easily. The Walmart and Publix supermarkets
are just around the corner and the restaurant on site proved useful
after a long day at the parks.
We particularly liked the idea of our own apartment with it's privacy
but the security of the Staff in the clubhouse, should we need them.
All in all, I couldn't fault the Bahama Bay. This was our first stay in
the resort and without doubt, the best when visiting Florida. I've
recommended your condo to friends and work colleagues and are now in
the process of booking for next year.
"We'll be back". (Got that from Universal)
Thank you so much.

Kendall and Gary,
We enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay very much. I especially enjoyed the
fact that, at least for now, it's away from the busier traffic areas
and it was easy to make a quick trip to the grocery store or to do a
little shopping.
As for the resort, check-in was quick and easy. The front desk
personnel were professional and helpful in explaining procedures. The
resort itself is a relaxing environment. The pools and entertainment
areas were clean and neat. Our room was clean and prepared nicely when
we arrived. The majority of everything we needed to prepare the meals
we had in was present.
The website was helpful in preparing us for our visit. I printed
out much of the info before our trip and used it to get us started with
the vacation when we arrived. It was a good representation of what we
found.
Overall, I was very pleased and would not hesitate to contact you again if we were to stay in the area again.
Thank you,

Dear Kendal,
just a line to say how wonderful Bahama Bay Resort was! It was clean,
spacious and luxurious. We were unfortunate to be in Florida when it
was the wettest June since 1968 but the fact that we could retreat to
the tranquility of B. B. meant that our holiday wasn't marred so much.
The staff were very helpful and the pools were clean and had plenty of
beds and tables and chairs. The appartments had everything you could
need, with a TV in each bedroom, and the ice dispenser fridge made it
all the more "American"! There were loads of Satellite TV channels -
something we'd been worried about - and the Disney Parks were really,
really close.
In fact, my sister was staying in the International
Drive area at the same time and it was like visiting "Concrete City"
when we went to her appartment. The view was of other similar
appartments or hotels, the atmosphere was impersonal and they didn't
have as many satellitle channels as we did. At B. B. it was tranquil,
green and had that well manicured look which was a pleasant contrast
from the hectic hours at the parks. B.B. also had a very friendly
atmosphere and it was possible to enjoy the company of the other
residents if you chose to spend the day at the resort instead of a
theme park.
We would definately stay in one of your appartments
again and can confidently advise anybody to do the same. The first day
"welcome call" from you was nice too as it made us feel somebody out
there cared!
Thanks again for a great stay at B. B.

Disney - spot on. Having Our family of four stayed at Bahama Bay for
two weeks early July 2005 and it really was a fantastic place to stay.
Would absolutely recommend it -lovely, lovely accommodation.
This was our first trip to Florida and we were going to opt for a hotel
on International Drive. Forget it!! Why get stuck in one bedroom for 2
weeks when you can have a family size house to roll around in. You'll
definately appreciate the space and privacy if you are travelling as a
family. We were in a beautiful "Andros" apartment at Bahama Bay. Two
gorgeous bedrooms with their own bathrooms - ours had a huge walk in
shower, double sink, jacuzzi-size bath. The kitchen was immaculate - I
don't think anything had ever been used in it - or maybe thats just the
upkeep of the place. Both bedrooms had televisions with satellite. And
for the mummys out there - the laundry room just off the kitchen with
washing machine and tumble dryer meant I didn't return home with two
weeks worth of washing.
The living room was very comfortable with a pull out bed that our two
kids opted to sleep on so they could crash in front of the TV, DVD,
Hi-Fi. We're not talking Costa Brava pull out bed here - we are talking
very, very comfortable double-bed. I know some people may think the
staff rude perhaps but we had no experience of this at all - we didn't
really see them that much because we were out and about each day - one
persons intrusiveness is another persons friendly - right?? If you need
something they'll help you out. They were as friendly as any
restaurant/bar staff in the UK. One thing that was really helpful was
we were escorted to our condo on arrival by a lovely man called Nixon.
He showed us maps of the local area, told us about the resort, shopping
nearby, etc. Very nice man and very helpful especiallly for us
first-timers. The security guy is a laugh - thumbs up every time you
pass. Drawbacks??? None really just be careful - we had a ground floor
condo - you could get a 2nd or 3rd floor one and I wouldn't fancy a
hike up the high stairs after running round the theme parks all day.
And don't be put off by the drive down the 192 to the resort - you
might think oh no we're out in the sticks but you really, really aren't
at all. Five mins and you are in the thick of shops and restaurants and
really only 15mins somewhere lovely and quiet to return to after a busy
day or even just to have a day off relaxing it perfect. The swimming
pools and whirlpools stay open to after 10pm - the water was nice &
warm. Poolside bar means you can have a little nightcap while the kids
relax. Also - check out the deck and the man-made beach at the lake
edge behind the Tradewinds restaurant on the site - its really pretty
and peaceful.
One final thing - the signpost of Bahama Bay is teeny-tiny (don't know
why) but just look out for the Davenport Estates sign and you know to
turn down this exit for Bahama Bay. Thats it - hope you enjoy your
holiday

Hi
This is just to say that Bahama Bay is so easy to find.
Travel West on the Interstate 4, Turn right at 64B onto the US192
heading west, left onto the US27 heading south and its about 5mins
drive along on the right hand side. The road you need it Florence Villa
Grove Road and the estate its on (this you will see from the US27) is
marked Lake Davenport Estates.
You really cant miss it so ignore the feedback on this site about the
place being hard to find. We travelled from Sanford Airport and it took
about 1 hour 20mins.
Bahama Bay itself is superb. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed 2 bathroomed
condo. It was huge. Its a great resort, friendly helpful staff and the
restraunt Tradewinds was lovely. The waitresses there took a shine to
our little girl who had just turned one and they certainly took the
stress out of eating out with a little one. Thank you, especially to
Ludmilla.(see feedback below
to offset Gary)
Bahama Bay is a really good base for seeing Florida. 25 mins to Disney,
1.5 hours to Daytona Beach and the same to Clearwater. Highway 192 has
all the restraunts that International Drive has and the start of it s
only 5 mins away.
Thank you Bahama Bay for a lovely holiday, if we had the money we would
buy one of the apartments that are currently being built. We loved it
and hope to return in a couple of years.
Thank you,

Hi,
Feedback on the apartment and resort.
The resort was fantastic in terms of the high quality etc, and the apartment
was great as well. Pity the 3rd bedroom had no tv, that was murder for me
having been consigned to it as the only single guy in a party of 5 ( 2 older
married couples) plus me. (The Gran Bahama unit has 3 TV units
I would have thought that would have been ok while on holiday Gary)
The tradewinds was a surprise, the first visit the food was great, the second
visit was even better, but our 3rd visit was a bad experience, slow service
and the food was cold and under cooked. We got it sorted with the Manager at
the time but it certainly meant we did not choose to dine there again.
(This seems to be a problem I need to sort out, we either get great reviews,
see above, or bad, can only be down to staff on certain nights, will
investigate with the General Manager Gary)
One last negative was the absurd closing time at the pool at the Main
Clubhouse, to make everyone head for the pool at the tradewinds so close to
the lake and all the mosquitoes is something that should be looked at.
(this is the first time I have heard of this, maybe this is so that
they only have to man one bar, it would not make a lot of difference with
the mosquitoes if you were at the restaurant pool or the clubhouse one, they do fly around, this is a problem in all of
Florida and at certain times of the year are worse than others but
The Resort has got a very good prevention program, spraying and sonic
scarers which seems to keep the
numbers down Gary)
Other than that we have been signing the apartment and the resorts praises to
all and sundry since our return on Saturday 2nd July.

Mark

Hi Kendall,
Sorry for the late response. To say that we were pleasantly surprised
when we arrived at Bahama Bay Resort would truly be an understatement.
The place that we stayed at was very clean, spacious and bright. From
the three swimming pools to the two bars, resturant, and beach it really
is a resort experience.
As for the few negative things I heard about finding the resort and
location I found it quite easy to find and the fact that it was off the
main road I thought that was good in the fact that the traffic was
bearable. In finishing I can say for a fact that on our next trip to
Orlando, we will definetly be giving you a call.

What
a great place! The apartments were clean, spacious and well equipped.
The staff were wonderful and the restaurant and bars were great. We
came to Florida planning to do lots, but the Bahama Bay was so laid
back we found it difficult to drag ourselves away most days as it was
such a chilled place to stay. Never mind, there is alwasy next time,
and as I brought a condo at Bahama Bay there will e lots of those.

Hi Kendall\Gary
Ok feedback time.
The Booking €“ I had made enquiries with travel agents about a booking
at the Bahama Bay but it seemed a bit to expensive on the agents price
per person and so I looked at the Bahama Bay Website and decided to
book with an owner. I submitted the enquiry and literally minutes later
received a phone call from Gary with all the details. This was followed
up with relevant emails about the apartment. The booking was made
smoothly and with no problems whatsoever. So that€™s got to be 10\10 !
Travel €“ If your going to put a trip together yourself I€™d
recommend Travel City Direct for a fly\drive. Good seat pitch €“
enough leg room for me at just over 6 ft tall and complimentary drinks
throughout the flight
The Apartment €“ All I can say about this is that it was superb! We
chose to stay in a Grand Bahama €“ 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms sitting area
full kitchen utility room. More than enough room for our party of 6
adults (if you can call my kids and their partners adults €“ I
sometimes wonder)
The apartment was spotlessly clean and in a great location overlooking
the lake and woodland. Everyone on the site was friendly and I
wouldn€™t hesitate to go back to the resort. I really can€™t fault
the place another 10\10 for me.
Location €“ The location is excellent with numerous restaurants nearby
and just a short drive to all the Disney parks and shopping areas.
Top Tip €“ This is my top tip taking into account the vast size of the
road networks in this area and the fact that I have the navigation
skills of an amoeba. Upgrade to Sat Nav on your hire car. You may think
these things are gimmicky but once you€™ve taken a wrong turn in
America you€™ll soon see the benefit of these devices. Worth every
penny imho.
We had a fantastic holiday and would thoroughly recommend both the
Bahama Bay Resort and the service offered by Gary and Kendall.
Thanks very much!

Hello Kendall/Gary
Just a line to give you some feedback on our recent holiday. As you
know, we went with our son Matt, wife Tracy and their two children Lucy
and Ben (8 and 5 years old. The Grand Bahama (1416) apartment was ideal
for us and so very spacious. We all loved the decor, the amenities and
the balconies which were big enough to sit out on (and listen to the
frogs in the lake at night!!!).
We found the Resort OK but definitely think the Beeline
Highway and then down on Highway 4 to the 27 is a more direct route and
it is possible to do that in 30 mins. It would be far easier as well
for guests arriving on a night flight. (we will update our directions, Gary) We
found the Resort very convenient to get to all the Theme Parks and it
was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of Orlando and return
to the peace of the Resort with its lovely beach and lakeside setting.
We enjoyed our meals at The Tradewinds restaurant and found the service
good. (see emails below about service to equal out, Gary)
Unfortunately, we were disappointed not to have a Welcome Pack on
arrival but although you said you ordered it, the front desk said they
had no record of it. Never mind! (this was a mistake at the resort and was our first one missed Gary)
Everything else in the Apartment exceeded expectations - we thought the
finish was superb and it was good to have our own washing machine and
drier (but would add that it may be a good idea to tell guests it is
not necessary to wash sheets and towels towards end of vacation - as we
did! ) Must say it was lovely to have plenty of good quality, good size
towels - so often it is an item that is skimped on and it is a low cost
item so is a silly mistake.)
The pools and jacuzzies were all cleaned daily and well
maintained. As we were leaving the children's paddling pool was really
taking shape and all the paving around and shrubs/trees were planted.
All that was left to do was to tile the inside of the pool and fill it
with water. Also had climbing frames nearby and I think it will prove
to be a very popular area.
The restaurants that we found to be extremely good value and
comfortable were The Olive Grove, Key W Kools, Angus Steak House and,
of course, The Sizzler.
We had an evening flight on the leaving day so we were able
to pay $40 to extend the use of the room until 3pm which was helpful.
All in all - a most enjoyable stay and it was better than
being in a private villa because the grandchildren had other children
to play with when we spent a day at the Resort. When we return to
Orlando we will definitely return to Bahama Bay - thank you!
Best regards Kate and Tony Green (West Sussex)

What can I say, fabulous resort and accommodation, will be sure to highly recommend it and yourselves.
The resort itself was clean, beautifully laid out and well kept, the on-site staff were all helpful and very polite.
Accommodation was lovely. Couldn't fault it at all, its the first time
I've returned from holiday with no washing ...... which sounds 'sad'
but it made a big difference having the laundry room! Everything was
there that you needed to make the holiday run smoothly.
The only thing that spoilt it was the morning we we were packing
to leave we have 2 or 3 people knocking on the door around 9am asking
if we were going. 10am is quite early to check out anyway and when you
have a 3 year old to sort out too, the last thing you need is to be
badgered to leave the apartment.(
9 am is very early and I will discuss this with the management, it could be
that they had a large amount of checkouts on that day and needed to get a
lot cleaned in a short amount of time ,but you can request a late checkout
to 11am at no cost or a late one as above for an extra cost, Gary) However, on the whole the holiday was fabulous and I would highly recommend it (you that is).
Thanks once again.
Kind regards

Hi, Kendall!
Just returned from our trip to Bahama Bay and wanted to fulfill your request to give you a report on the accomodations.
First of all, thanks for being responsible and trustworthy. It is
gratifying doing business with people with your work ethic. We were
welcomed warmly, Our apartment was decorated nicely, it was clean, and
it was well equipped. I think the resort itself could stand to be
landscaped a little better, (Lots of our guests think the resort is beautifully landscaped, Gary)
but when you go to Orlando to visit the theme parks, you don't really hang around the resort too much.
The only problem we had was that when we arrived in Orlando we went to
the 3050 Michigan Avenue Kissemme address thinking we had to go there
to register and pick up the key. That was a large waste of time and we
were very upset- with ourselves, not you. Upon reading the Welcome Pack
you sent us more thoroughly, we realized you had given us the address
we needed to go to. I just had it in my mind that that was where we
were staying, but that we had to pick up the key at the 3050 Michigan
Ave.address. So, this was really the only problem we had and we created
the problem for ourselves. Totally our mistake.
(always look at the paperwork we send! all our guests pick up the keys at
the Resort.Gary)
Anyway, we didn't let that keep us from having a great time. Thanks again.

Kendall,
We hand a brilliant holiday in Florida!
<The accommodation, booking process and resort were 'First Class'
with easy access to the major attractions, shops and restaurants. The
apartment was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable
holiday. The essential shopping items left for us was very much
appreciated after a long flight.
The only minor negative point I can make. Is noise from the AC units
outside the bedrooms (No double glazing). Which may effect light
sleepers.
(This is only on the ground floor Andros units and is my first complaint but I
will see what we can do, they have been landscaped with shrubs to help, and as
they get bigger will help to reduce the noise Gary )
However, I can not recommend the Trade Winds restaurant. The food
and service was very average and expensive. They also included a 15%
service charge automatically.(
see email above, as some people love the restaurant, I will publish the menu on
my site soon to let people see the prices, they seem competitive to me.
Gary)
I will stay at the Bahama Bay on my next visit to Florida.

Hi Kendall
We have recently returned from Bahama Bay and I must say I was very pleased
with our choice to stay there.
I found the accomodation to be of an excellent standard, spacious, well
equiped, clean & well maintained. We had a couple of minor things with the
apartment , a loose door handle for example, but these were attended to very
quickly by the staff on site.
The building work on the site was a little noisy and, if we had been
spending all day by the pool then we might of been a bit disappointed, but
all in all it did not detract from the holiday.(90% of the
building work has been completed and is nowhere near the pools or beach,
Gary)
The staff were generally pretty helpful particularly the guy in the
clubhouse bar area although the people in the information area did not seem
particularly knowledgable about local restaurants to recommend etc.
We ate at the onsite restaurant only once whilst we were there and the food
was ok but not 5 star standard. I was a bit disturbed when the waitress was
trying to serve my wife dessert from their selection while I was still
eating my main course. They did not really seem to care whether we were all
on the same stage of the meal and wanted to rush us along although it was
not particularly busy. (I will speak to the restaurant
manager to discuss this soon, Gary)
The pools were clean and well maintained and seemed pretty safe for the
kids, who enjoyed them thoroughly.
My 8 year old son who found the saluting security guard on the gate very
entertaining although I was a bit surprised to find that the security seemed
to stop at around 11 and if we returned to the complex after this time the
barriers wer open and no guard to be seen. (the guard will
leave the barrier open while he does his rounds, Gary)
These are only minor niggles and my family & I thoroughly enjoyed our time
at Bahama Bay and found it a good base for the usual Disney attractions. I
would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Bahama Bay to any family
wishing to visit the Orlando area.

Our stay at Bahama Bay was fantastic the Apartment was very nice
spotlessly clean, we were able to choose the position of the apartment
by looking on your web site which enabled us to be where right where we
wanted, Our apartment was right by the pool which ment our sons had the
freedom to go off to the pool when ever they liked without being too
far away, we were also close to the Trade winds restaurant which we
used frequently after a hard day at the parks this also ment we did not
need to get back in the car. Bahama Bay was quite and beautifully
presented. There were lots of other families there so the the children
made lots of new friends. we will definitely be back for another visit.

My wife, son and I booked a two bedroom Andros which was excellent -
clean, spacious and very well equipped. It was a real home form home.
Our son especially like having his own room,TV and bathroom. The
screened terrace meant we could enjoy a drink outside without being
bitten. The welcome food pack was very much appreciated as we arrived
in the evening.
We liked the fact that it was easy to get to both Disney and Universal
theme parks from the 192 or I4, but when you did not want to visit a
park the resort was an ideal setting for relaxing. It was peaceful,
very clean and the grounds were lovely and well kept. There were three
pools and plenty of sun beds. The views from the pool beside the lake
were lovely. We however used the pool nearest our condo.
My son is a powerlifter so he made good use of the gym.
We ate in the restaurant the second night and the food was very good. The staff were efficient and friendly.
In fact all the staff we came into contact with, from the clubhouse to
the security person at the gate house, were friendly and helpful.
(see email below Gary )
There were supermarkets near by and a variety of eating places on the
192. All in all we had a wonderful holiday in a great location. We will
certainly have no hesitation in recommending Bahama-Bay to friends and
family. It was so much better than staying in a hotel as we did on our
previous visit to Florida. We will definitely return.
Regard
Andy

Hi Kendall,
We had a wonderful time at Bahama Bay! Your company did a fabulous job with
the booking as well as providing us with an excellent condo. It was really
nice and we had more than enough room for six people. We appreciated the
small details that were provided like coffee/tea packets, dish soap, bin
liners etc. The beds and linens were wonderful too!
The location was nice
because it was quiet and peaceful and away from the theme park crowds. The
grounds were beautiful and everything was very well maintained. Your
directions were perfect
The only thing I was disappointed with was some of the front desk staff.
Some of them weren't very friendly and I felt like we were imposing when
asking questions. On the day we checked out, there were more than six or
seven people waiting in line at the front desk with only one person working.
There were several other people behind the desk just visiting so several
people were a little upset.Gary ( see email above to equal
out, we don't normally have a problem but must of been a very busy day and I
will look into it )
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and I have told everyone how
nice it was. I will definitely book through your company again. I
appreciate all your help and professionalism!
Thank you,
Michelle Irvin

The resort was very beutiful. We had a lovely apartment that well
equipped for a family. The view, pool, all inclusive was well worth our
money. Disney and all its attractions were well within a reasonable
distance which was a very important factor. We had a wonderful and
lovely time. I would definately recommend your resort.. Sincerely,

What a wonderful vacation we had!! We have done nothing but rave about
the Bahama Resort since we returned. Arriving at midnight, we were not
sure what to expect. What a delight to find security and registration
both available and willing to assist us in any manner. The condo was
absolutely beautiful and spacious! With four children it afforded us
all the opportunity to move around and have our own space when we
needed it. Imagine our surprise when we opened the refrigerator and
found that it had been stocked with staples for the next day. What a
wonderful treat to not have to run out early in the morning for juice,
milk, cereal, etc. The pool and beach areas were wonderful. Never too
crowded. Everyone was very friendly. The location was also great. Off
the beaten path so you really feel you are in a tropical paradise, but
close to stores and all of the major attractions. We will be back
again. Thanks for a great stay! Jim and Patti O'Mara

After staying at Bahama bay for 16 days, we would recommend the place to anyone.
When we walked in we could not have imagined how great it was. It was
home from home with all the added €œwow factor€ feelings you would
get from a 5 star hotel and resort.
Everything that Gary had promised was there. The whole complex was
clean, tidy and well looked after at all times. The staff were friendly
and helpful. The kids loved the place, especially the enormous bathroom
and 100 television stations.
